Dear Bonita Valley (BV) Community,   

Our BV board is committed to fulfilling the mission of BV Softball. Our mission is to: 
 
- Provide an organized, recreational and competitive softball program for the registered players of BV
- Provide an enjoyable and memorable experience for the players who participate in the program.
- Develop the players’ softball skills and gain an appreciation and knowledge for the game.
- Develop good sportsmanship among all the players in the league.    - - - Develop the qualities of citizenship and leadership through the game of softball.
- Promote physical fitness for the players. 
- Prepare the players for competitive next level softball i.e. travel ball, high school and beyond.

As a result, the board has taken a number of recent actions to better fulfill our mission. For example, the board is currently re-developing its bylaws to ensure that our policies and procedures align with our operational vision and values to create the best outcomes for our girls.    

  In addition, the board has decided to pursue new leadership and has a new President, Johnny Garcia, to lead us into the next era of BV Softball. We want BV to continue to be the best league in Southern California and will pursue that objective diligently. 

Registration for the Spring season is currently open.
Registration deadline December 31st.
- Late registration is from January 1st-7th. 
- Player assessments are scheduled for:  Jan. 5th  5pm-8pm Jan. 7th  9am-12pm.
- All players are encouraged to assess. Pitchers and catchers, and new players to the sport and a division are required to assess. These assessments help ensure we have balanced teams. If you are interested in managing/coaching/or becoming a team parent on a team, please register as a volunteer and indicate your intended role as manager or assistant coach.  We thank you for your commitment to our league and look forward to the upcoming Spring season. We look forward to an amazing 2024 season.
